Set 1 – A Tribute to Nina Simone: Vocalist Anna Maria Andersson and the Gustafson-Boman-Djeridi trio interpret a selection from Nina Simone’s musical treasure trove via a mix of passionate jazz ballads, infectious blues and soul, and iconic protest songs that remain strikingly relevant today. Set 2 – “Other Moods” & Standards: The duo of vocalist Minna Hummel and guitarist Anton Brodin present an “Other Moods” repertoire featuring selected jazz standards by Gershwin, Powell, Parker, & Rodgers.
