Northbricks AB is the data controller. Privacy questions go to hello@tojo.chat.

Waitlist (email)

When you submit the waitlist form you give consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) for us to process your email and optional fields (platform, role; for businesses also the organisation name) solely to tell you when the app ships on the App Store and Google Play.

The data is sent to our processor Formspree, Inc. (USA). Transfers to the USA rely on appropriate safeguards under Formspree’s terms, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

We keep the data until the launch email is sent, for at most 24 months from signup, or earlier if you ask us to delete it. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing us — we will then remove you from the list.

Web analytics (Plausible)

We use self-hosted Plausible Analytics on our own infrastructure to see roughly how many people visit, which pages are read, and where traffic comes from. The legal basis is legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) in understanding and improving the site without building personal profiles.

Plausible does not use cookies, does not build a personal profile, and does not fingerprint visitors. IP addresses are used briefly for coarse geolocation and then aggregated. No cookie banner is required for this cookieless analytics under ePrivacy.

Maps and location

On some pages we show a map via our embed (embed.tojo.chat). The map loads tiles from OpenStreetMap; your IP address is then visible to the tile provider. Processing is needed to display the map (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)).

If you allow location sharing in the browser (allow-locate), your approximate position is used locally to centre the map. We do not store that position in the waitlist or analytics for profiling.

Cookies

www.tojo.chat does not set cookies for analytics or advertising. Strictly technical mechanisms needed to serve the site may exist in your browser or at subprocessors, but we do not use tracking cookies.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and — where processing is based on legitimate interest — to object. Where processing is based on consent you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY). Contact us at hello@tojo.chat.
