Erik Madigan Heck: Before One Assembles Itself
House of Photography presents Before One Assembles Itself, American artist Erik Madigan Heck’s first public exhibition in Sweden and the Nordic region. Describing himself as “a painter who uses photography”, Heck uses the photograph as the starting point for a process in which colour is built up layer by layer, sometimes up to a hundred.
