The castle forest is a place for relaxation, recreation and outdoor life, in the middle of the city. The mix of planned park areas and natural forests creates a fantastic place for everything from running to cozy picnics. In and in connection with the park there are cafes, zoo, playgrounds and much more. In the zoo you can see moose, Gotlandsruss, gute sheep and other Nordic animals, all year round. In the summer, the Children’s Zoo is open.
