Gothenburg is considered the Nordic beer capital, with 35 active breweries. Everything from the usual layer to experimental surge. Most restaurants and bars in Gothenburg have craft beers from local breweries in their range. Some breweries also have taprooms, where you can access the entire brewery’s range, such as Vega Bryggeri, Stigbergets Bryggeri Majorna and O/O Bar.
